In a recent letter to the editor, Pennsylvania patient advocate Kim M. highlighted the urgent need for pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reform and applauded bipartisan leadership from Congressman Rob Bresnahan and Senators Dave McCormick and John Fetterman. “For years, patients were expected to navigate a system where PBMs exercised enormous influence over coverage and costs… Families managing serious illnesses never knew whether the next visit to the pharmacy would bring another disruption.”
