Amanda F. is a nurse practitioner in New York, so she sees firsthand the struggles patients face. Not only do they face health challenges, but they also are “fighting battles they shouldn’t have to fight,” because of PBM practices, like refusing to pass savings to patients or steering patients toward the more expensive medicine. Amanda believes that reform is needed – but MFN does not do enough to address these very real problems.
